Plagiarism is the act of presenting someone else's work, ideas, or intellectual property as one's own without proper attribution.

  • Types of Plagiarism:

Plagiarism can take various forms, including but not limited to:

  • Copying verbatim text without quotation marks and proper citation.

The results of plagiarism checks will be treated with strict confidentiality by the editorial team. Editors and reviewers are obligated to maintain the confidentiality of the plagiarism detection process.

  • Self-Plagiarism:

Authors are advised against self-plagiarism, which involves republishing one's own previously published work without proper citation. Any overlap with an author's prior publications must be clearly identified and cited. IJDS is committed to maintaining the trust and integrity of the scholarly record.
